What is Skin Tag Removal?
Removal detaches the tag at its base, which is typically narrow. The clinic uses an in-clinic method appropriate to the size and site, under local anaesthesia where required. Before anything is removed, the doctor examines the lesion — pigmented, irregular, bleeding or rapidly changing growths are not skin tags and are not treated as such.

- Report increasing pain, spreading redness, pus or bleeding
- New tags can appear elsewhere; removal does not prevent that
